NP Peer Helpers

Thank You!
“Let today be the day you stop living within the confines of how others define or judge you. - Steve Maraboli"
Before you move on, remember to fill in the Participation Tracking Form with all the 7 CODES here!

We would like to thank all of you for participating in our Student Wellness Week 2020 event. We are saddened that we are unable to meet all of you in real life and hold this event in school like what we initially planned for. However, we hope that you have learnt something about mental health and resilience through the activities that we especially came up with for this event.

Resilience refers to the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. Through our event, we also hope to inspire some of you to want to take up a CCA in NP and challenge yourself. You can try and approach the CCA that you are interested in and DM them through Instagram. Of course, if you are interested to join NP Peer Helpers (@np_peerhelpers) or NPYA Pacers (@npyapacers), you can definitely send us a DM and we will get back to you.

We would like to thank the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) and the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) for allowing us to use their resources in our activities.

Last but not least, we want to thank Hush Teabar, Mr Kevin Wee from Rebound with Resilience, Mr Jonathan Kuek and Resilience Collective for providing students with the opportunity to learn and ask more questions related to mental health and resilience. Also, we would like to thank Ms Law Mei Ting, Mr Asher Low and Shazuan Shiraj for sharing their story and recovery journey, letting students know that they are not alone, and help is readily available around them.

YOU are never alone. Help us overcome the stigma surrounding mental health.
With Love,
NP Peer Helpers
